::the good wife challenge::
Okay so I totally need to work on being a better wife. My kids need to see a good example of patience, kindness and love. So here's what I'm going to do: challenge myself to not complain about anything to my husband in any way shape or form for the next 30 days. *gulp*
Oh I know, I know! Who wants to do this with me? Let's be accountable K? That's what I need. I want to see how kind I can be to my man- how uncomplaining and how loving.
So here's the rules: The contest starts this Sunday night. The one with the most points at the end of 30 days (Jan 31) wins a little surprise from me (two digital layouts with up to three of your favorite photies).
Tally points for the following areas (below). Please post your totals with each post from now until then. If you're single, substitute your boyfriend or even a friend. Reply to tell me if you want to play and I'll list the contestants on Sunday night with links. I'll then look forward to some inspiring stories of improved marriages and relationships. If you have any suggestions for additional accountability points, please submit for consideration.
Accountability points:
1. No complaining for entire day (includes saying anything negative. If you have to share some negative news you must follow it up with a bright side): 10 points
2. Random act of kindness (be creative - no limit): 10 points
3. Compliment (only one compliment per sentence and compliments must be stretched out at least one hour apart, so for instance you can't give 14 compliments in a row): 5 points
4. Say "you're right" about anything he's even close to right about: 20 points
Watch out guys - you're in for a treat.

I had a blog stalker once. I found out his name, address, phone number, and drivers license # and posted it on my site. That pretty much took care of it.

Well since my dear friend Angela think s this a good idea I guess I will play too!
Good thing this doesn't start until sunday. I have a major crisis with the hubby right now.
Christmas was wonderful..hectic since the guys think they are free of responsibilities when not at home..rrrr. Well he went to work Monday morning at 7..well not to his work but to help this guy out..didn't come home until 3 am on Tuesdy got back up to go to his work at 6:30 (3 hours of sleep)and then to his work and then to work for this guy and it is 10:30pm on Tuesday and he won't be home for hours. There is a limit to helping others when it hinders other obligations..like to family. I am
so sad and exhausted from taking care of the kids nonstop and all the house stuff. He said "but I am getting paid"...well honey it isn't worth it to me unless it is like $1000 dollars because he just saved the guy like $20,000.
Ok sorry I don't even know you guys... I needed to vent without bad mouthing him on my blog or to my friends...Angela sssshhh!
But I am playing I will love him when this is all over!

Ha! Maybe we should have the husbands check in to make sure these girls actually deserve the points they are claiming...
Wife: "Your mother is the most insane person in the world!"
Husband: "Honey, that was a negative thing to say..."
Wife: "No, it wasn't. I used the word 'most' not 'least'. See, your mother is the worlds leader in something..."
Somehow I can see my wife trying to claim points on that.
Okay Okay - I'll play too...even if I come in dead last - it will be worth the effort - or at least I hope my hubby will think so :)
