::still alive::

So much keeping me from blogging recently. Mainly, the entire family sleeping in one room, our room, where the computer is. Making it nearly impossible.

I'm so glad the GWC helped some of you. It's nice to know a little difference was made even though I wasn't able to follow through as I'd liked.

We believe at this point that Rob's mum won't be have the surgery as anticipated. It's a little unclear (communication with the doctors is really poor) whether the cancer has spead to her lungs, but that seems to be the case. Betty (Rob's mum) is however surprisingly and inspirationally upbeat and happy. Bless her. She really is lovely.

We tried out a new church this weekend and are quite happy with it. The previous Presbyterian church we were visiting was a little too liberal for our, I mean my, liking. Calvary Chapel was WAY too huge for me although I love Chuck Smith. I was looking for a church family, not really a church city.

Luke's schedule is totally out of whack - up at 4:30 this morning. This is the main reason for my blog absence. I've missed it but have spent so much more time on the house, organization, redecorating, ect.

Trimming our lavendar bushes today. The garden is shameful. Yet another one of my projects. I miss my bloggin friends. Having serious withdrawals but it's all my fault.

hey girl! yes, we've missed you, but completely understand. one of the huge blessings of the blog world is that most of us are much more about encouraging rather than tearing down.

hope you have found your church family. i feel your pain on that one. for some reason, in the past few years we've had difficulty feeling "at home".

the pictures are beautiful and enjoy your labor in the garden!

blessings!

welcome back! So glad to hear that ther were no critical reasons for not blogging.:) Sorry to hear of Rob's mum's troubles. I'll keep her in my prayers. I'm with you on the church family rather than city. :)

So glad to see you are alive and kickin'. Sorry to hear your not so good news...Church...yea...we are struggling with that one too, although I was in a "church city" when we were in CA...We had gotten involved in some small groups and it just made our experience there so wonderful...having a hard time replacing that great feeling that I was being fed and uplifted...

GREAT pics of the children! LOVE the eyes on your little one! SO cute!

So glad to hear that things are going pretty well, all things considering. Glad you found a church that maybe you can call "home"...

I have been thinking of you often and praying for ya too!

I really really am so glad you are "still alive" and blogging a little bit - no pressure for sure - but you sure were MISSED!!

So glad to see that you are still among the living!! Was starting to wonder whether the houseguest drove you to the funny farm!

Any updates with Luke? Conor has been officially diagnosed on the spectrum. Thanks to you, Conor will now get the therapies he needs. You never know how God will use you!

The kids are very cute :)
Hope things will go back to normal for you soon.

My parents' church just became a Calvary Chapel church. It's still little,
but they like it. :)

Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such kind words.

At themoment I need to hustle off to work, but I'll come back and read your blog more carefully.

I see you go to Calvary Chapel. I used to go there when it was in a tent back in the '70s. At one point there was a painting in the foyer that my mom had done, of a little boy (my little brother) gazing up into a stream on light. I wonder if it is still around.

Anyway... thank you for your visit and I promise to return the favor later today.

God bless.

Hi Gina,

I'm from CaLavy Chapel of Webster ,New York.Sometimes the Lord scambles things up to get us to a place that He wants us . It may look like our lives are out of control, but by His hand it's a perfect plan. One verses that I live by in my little world of buzyness is "Trust in the Lord with all your Heart, lean not on your own understanding" He loves you so much. Your perfect in His eyes( You have His Sons Blood).
By the pictures I see that the Lord Blessed you very Much.

May Jesus rule in your life in a way that leads you to Higher understanding of His Love.

Amen

Doug
