I believe there is a time in every mother's life when she realizes she's just going to have to let go and...
let the children get dirty.
That was today for me.
I'm not a clean freak by ANY standards but the dirt on Luke's clothes was more laundry for me and who wants that?
But memories and boyhood won today... and rightly so.
And there's always Oxyclean.

yea they get dirty... part of life :-) although Caleb likes to stay unusually clean... haha
:) love it. so me. not a neat freak either, but still sometimes hard to give in to the dirt, chocolate and ice cream. but sometimes u just gotta. :)
I remember as a child playing in the mud four HOURS and my mom hosing us off on the back step because we were too dirty to come into the house...hehehehheheheheh!
I love that memory!
And sometimes you gotta give up the light colored carpet for a nice shade of navy blue!
i wonder why children love to get dirty? i did when i was a kid and i didn't understand why until now. part of growing up i guess.
boys and dirt...they just go hand in hand!!! Lets get filthy!!! I miss the days where mud was my best friend...ah, to be 4 again!
Love the pic of Luke and Lelia "washing up" :) so cute! My sis has 4 kids and has alwyas been sooo laid back with their dirt...wish I could have been more like that...not that I was a clean freak either...my happiest days as a mommy were when we had a backyard pool, the kids could live in their swimsuits and when they got dirty...into the pool they went...lol
