Oooh - a new header !!
Hmmm - i'm going to suggest something a bit different, that i'm sure your kids would love ( I lived for a year in Ca. once, and got these two books send over as gifts for two American kids I was living with )
"Snugglepot and Cuddlepie" - a book by May Gibbs, and
"The Magic Pudding" by Norman Lindsay
A must for bedtime 'chapter reading' for any Aussie child, and books that can capture the imagination of a worldwide audience.
If you can't get them, and are interested, let me know. They totally *made* my childhood.
