Is this the kind of world we want?
Compare president approval ratings.
A look back at them Soggy Bottom Boys.
In the bleak midwinter. Good ole James.
Snaksby tells you what you can make based on what's in your pantry. Hilarious.

I've been struggling with the power of money quite a bit recently. Ironically, this morning's message summed it up beautifully. I encourage you to listen. (Click on Money: The Fight For Freedom)

I'm so offended with a hug-banning school...Its just rediculous...Instead of dealing with the lack of love and support anbd appropriate tools to deal with emotion that create an environment for violence in the first place, we are going to further ban touching.

How do we ever learn to relate to one another? I'm so saddened...How do I teach my boy to love everyone and to be an open, cheerful, loving human being who will sometimes get hurt. How do I teach him that getting hurt doesn't give anyone the right to be violent in return? How to I teach him that "respect" doesn't mean "treat me like an entitled king" when our schools resort to such rediculous rules instead of dealing with the real issues?

I pray we can raise a kinder, more gentle, more loving, less hostile, less entitled generation to overcome the need for these kinds of things.
