T is for Temperature and Tennis

Proof that we've been scorching here in *temperate southern Cal*:
What' up with that?
And look at the time.
It's not even the hottest part of the day.
It's four pm!
Thankfully it's cooled down a little from Monday, when this was taken.
Leila and I've since been to the beach and actually froze our patusies so there ya go.

With a view to work his way through all ball-related sports, we're now on to tennis.
Rob's even set his sights on the club.

One of my *goals* is to learn to play tennis once the kids are
sufficiently occupied with school and such.
Considering the third is due 7 months from now...that might be a while.

Okay, check out the shorts. What did I tell you? Every. Day.

Thanks for the visit...And Yes, Thank God there is some relief today...I actually find that late afternoon is THE Worst time of the day...It seems hotter than Noon to me...and it's something I have been aware of for many years...But this past week..it was, to me, worse than ever....One wall of my house is ALL Windows...Floor to ceiling. And I had my special shutters down and still--When I walked into the den and living room, I could feel the heat coming in the house off of the windows---LATE Afternoon....UGH!
You have adorable children and an adorable husband, too!

those shorts are hilarious....while my husband has been deployed I have culled his shorts and t-shirt collection. When you have shirts from college with way too many holes, it is time to purge!

Oh goodness....those shorts, too funny. It has been a bad couple of days at work, but yesterday was the icing on the cake. My husband is mad I didn't just walk out. Well we have bills so I was trying to do the responsible thing. If you could share what you do that would be wonderful.

Extreme weather like that can make a person make crazy wardrobe choices. Yous should see the gawd-awful outfits western new yorkers don when there's a blizzard! Your blog warms my heart, may I add you to my blogroll?

I am laughing at the shorts. My man works from home and is often found in the same outfit a few days in a row.l At least he does change his underwear...and showers. He thinks he's saving on laundry/water bill...
