- A reconnection with an old childhood friend by way of random email and picture of her and her four kids. I'm reminded of summer beach vacation memories and pre-teen crushes. Nothing like a childhood friend.
- Extreme winds and smoke due to the Malibu fires down the road.
- Off to the library today. Holding on to our hair.

Those fires look awful....hope they are out soon.
We've been watching the fires with baited breath from this coast...so many people we know and love in the area...
Keep inside if you can...I remember the smoke and Santa Anas...not fun!!!

I was talking with a friend from CA today and she said it was gray in all directions but one small section of the sky. I hope things are better soon!
The winds are bad here to...however we don't have the fires. Hope all is okay where you are!
