Where There's Smoke

Ashes floated off the car this morning as we pulled out of the driveway.
They're now talking about arson.
One thing all this has made me realize is that there really are so few possessions that really matter to me. I'd grab my children, husband, photos, videos and home owners insurance policy. That might just about be it.

My friend Cheryl has an incredible new business!
Carte Blanche Assistance

And FYI: how to fold a fitted sheet.

I think natural disaters force people to realize what is most valuable in their lives....people, pets, pictures, important papers.

Arson...how could anyone do such a thing?
Maybe my patience with folding a fitted sheet is just not there.

So many people we know who lived in Running Springs...we still are not certain who has a home to go back to and who does not.

Got me thinking what I would take...AND whether or not I was organized enough to get what I needed quickly...mmmmm...should make some changes.

LOVE the VA site...I was going to be a VA for awhile....Now that I have Jay, I wish like heck I'd really pursued it...

I pray that you and your family will be kept safe!! And yeah, I've thought about that before...there really aren't that many possessions that are THAT important...I would go with pretty much the same list you had there!!

Darn. I am still not getting your updates in my bloglines. Gonna have to see if I can fix that :) You know...I saw Martha fold a fitted sheet once on her show and then I couldn't remember how she did it and I never thought to go to the web-site. THANKS!!!
