More From Monday

The composition on this one is all wrong but the look spoke to me.

I almost gave her mom a heart attack for this one. She's holding on to the side of the bridge and all I was thinking about is how I loved the way the sun was hitting her hair.

I'm not sure about the shadows on the faces here but really loved how the girls were looking at the camera so sweetly.

Pink deliciousness

Cutie feet
Magical

Got the ducks in! Love that. And look how beautiful she is.
One of my favorites.

Constructive (or non-constructive -- bring it on) criticism is welcome. I'm a newbie and have tons to learn.
And it's fun.
Thanks for indulging me.
Thank you to my beautiful models and their lovely Mama.

The first one, the bridge hugger, the two girls together marked "magical" and the last one.

All terrific Gina!

Must the composition be right for it to be a good picture? In my opinion, no, but I'm not a photographer! I just like pictures.

*swoon*
Anyone can go to the Sears portrait studio if they want prefect "composition"... it's more like you were composing an orchestra here!
you captured the complexities of their personalities so well... and I can't believe how much they look like their beautiful mommy!
Makes me miss my girlies so much! (Auntie Heather)

Hi! I found you on Donna's Blessed Nest blog. You were able to capture the girls great. What a treasure! Before being "mom" (and Eli's Lids starter...is starter a word?) I was a talent agent in the kids department of a large agency... so I'm very used to looking at kiddo pictures :) I love the look of #7 #8 #11, counting from the top down.

such gorgeous shots! and gorgeous girls to work with :) great job!! (which lens were you using for these?)

something i've learned over the last few weeks...photography should be FUN and rewarding and there shouldn't be too much energy focused on the technical aspects of it. great photography is great, no matter how it’s captured. if a photo makes you feel warm & fuzzy & speaks to you in a special way then it's a great photo.

:)
